Report on Navbharat Saksharta Programme (NILP)

As per the direction of the Central Government of India, NKES HIGH SCHOOL successfully organized the Navbharat Saksharta Programme (NILP) from 1st September to 8th September.
Honourable Headmistress Smt. Nitina Shukla and  Supervisor Shri Prakash Chandra Bangera were the torch bearers for the institution and parents to carry out this program on a wide scale.
With the initiation of our Principal Madam,padhyatra was carried out along with students and teachers.
              Incharge Tr’s. Smt.Shakuntala Waugh and Smt.Ratnavathy Salian organised various competitions and activities  were conducted during the week.Activities like   slogan writing, poster making, rally, street play, singing, dramatization, and screening of videos were scheduled to create awareness about the importance of literacy. Students participated enthusiastically and spread the message of “Education for All” through creative performances and campaigns.

                A special assembly was organized for parents, certificates and token of appreciation was  presented to all those who had enrolled under the scheme last year and successfully passed the literacy examination. Parents were also requested to inform the school authorities if they knew any illiterate person in their neighborhood, so that immediate steps could be taken to educate them. The inspiring journey of newly literate individuals was also shared, motivating others to join the movement.

The programme not only celebrated the achievements of new learners but also reinforced the collective responsibility of society in eradicating illiteracy and ensuring that every citizen has access to education.
